With a background as a Medical Doctor specialized in Radiology (Fleni, Buenos Aires, Argentina) and holding an MSc in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics (Universitat de Barcelona & Universitat Oberta de Catalunya), Mercedes Serra joined Medexprim in July 2021 as a Product Owner. She has contributed significantly to projects such as the Chaimeleon Project data catalog and developing AI algorithms for medical imaging. Her expertise in imaging and biostatistics, innovative problem-solving, and unwavering commitment have been instrumental in Medexprim’s success. Recognizing her exceptional contributions, she now leads the Research & Data Sciences team, steering them towards future innovations.
